PPA is a nonprofit photography organization that was created by photographers for photographers in order to help those who want to take photography and entrepreneurship to the next level and develop profitable and sustainable businesses. It provides education on a national level, such as Imaging USA, as well as on a local level, like us, PPWC. The Professional Photographers of California is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to enhancing photography through the passionate pursuit of education, sharing and unity. PPC's goal is to promote, educate, enhance and inspire the professional photographic community. As an affiliate of PPC, PPWC has access to valuable networking and educational opportunities for photographers, and we can offer merits towards PPC degrees and awards, scholarships for PPC events, and participation in numerous affiliate-specific programs PPC offers to help you grow and prosper.

As a current member of PPWC, you are welcome to attend any PPSV (Professional Photographer's of the Sacramento Valley) meetings for their member price.  Most regular meetings would be free to attend and special workshops and classes hosted by PPSV you may receive member discounted rates.
